Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
A morning at 0730 – 0800am, the drive will take you along the great rift valley, then you stop at the view point to take some photos and get the information about the formation of this great rift valley, then departure brings us to the world-renowned Masai Mara, the northern extension of the famous Serengeti Plains. On arrival check in the Lodge and have lunch, there after proceed for the afternoon game drive to the incredible productivity of the rolling grasslands and tree studded woodlands will be witnessed firsthand. Countless wildebeest, zebra, and water buffalo are guaranteed. Elephant, giraffe, warthog, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal are also all likely to be seen. The Mara’s numerous antelope species include hartebeest, topi, impala, eland, suni, bush Duiker, steinbok, dikdik, and Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle. Lion kills make for some great vulture viewing. The white-browned Robin-Chat’s lovely song at camp will wake you in the morning and call you to your Room in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara Tented Camp
Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day
You will be overwhelmed and satiated by the abundance of wildlife viewed in this park. Over 1.5 million wildebeest should be preparing for their southward migration to the Serengeti. The safari takes you to the Mara River where you will see and photograph hippos and large crocodiles lying in wait. Masai ostrich, crowned crane, helmeted guinea-fowl, kori bustard and the secretary bird will have you wondering what’s next on the fascinating bird list.The whole day explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.The Mara’s gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq kms – an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight a Rhino or Leopard. In the Mara River Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north. Dinner and overnight in Mara camp
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Have an early morning game drive as from 0630-0930am, then return to the Lodge for main breakfast, after the breakfast proceed to lake Naivasha and have your lunch on the way arriving in Lake Naivasha Carnelleys Camp, After lunch you will proceed to this famous lake, it has a lot of hippos and you will have an opportunity to have a walking trip along the lake, this will also accompanied with a boat ride which will take to you to the hippo pool, after exploring the lake return to Carnelleys Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha Hells Gate – Lake Nakuru
After the breakfast check out the camp and drive to Lake Nakuru, this normally takes like 45min to get to Lake Nakuru, on arrival, proceed on to the game drive which will take you until lunch time, then return to the guest house for lunch, after lunch proceed for another game drive which will take you to baboon cliff where you will be able to have a very good view for the whole park.The day will be spent in Lake Nakuru National park with game drive this is a soda lake in Kenya’s Rift Valley known for it’s flamingos and pelicans. Other birds that are abundant throughout the park include the African fish eagle, sacred ibis, hamerkop, and bee eaters. Baboons, water bucks, and introduced black and white rhinos are exciting viewing additions.Dinner and overnight in Lake Nakuru guest house.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Amboseli
Wake up call as early as 0600hrs, have just a cup of hot coffee, then proceed for the early game drive, this early morning game drive is very important as you will have a chance to see the early morning kill from the leopard as well as from Lion, then after the game drive drive back to the guest house around 0930hrs for the main breakfast, there after check out and head to Amboseli. On this day you will have your lunch along the way to Amboseli,on arrival check in the camp and if time allows go for the late afternoon game drive until 1830hrs. Then return to the camp for dinner and over night.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park Full Day
Have your breakfast and then proceed for the full day game drive, on this day you will have packed lunch with you so that you can maximize your game drive for the whole day. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most popular spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino,cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s paradise. Mount Kilimanjaro is the backdrop of this elephant haven, and you will not be disappointed by this first-class safari experience. You will have no trouble getting up close and personal with these African icons (and host of other wildlife species), from the safety of your pop-up canopy safari vehicle. Guests will have the opportunity to hike up Observation Hill, providing for an ideal lookout of the plains and swamps below.Meals and overnight at the camp
Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi
After the breakfast you will have an opportunity to have a walking safari with the Masai Moran in Amboseli, this walk will make you to encounter the wild animals which have created a well relation with the human in Amboseli, on this day you will also have an opportunity to visit the Famous Kilimanjaro base of climbing from the camp. There after return to the camp for lunch and then leave Amboseli and head back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off to the Hotel or back to the Airport to catch up with the flight.
